nasce il 2 Luglio 1985 in Monmouth County, New Jersey, con il nome
Ashley Michelle Tisdale. Figlia di Lisa Morris e Mike Tisdale, sorella dell’attrice
Jennifer Tisdale, la maggiore, e di Abby, più piccola di lei.
Venne diciamo "scoperta" in un centro commerciale del suo paese nativo quando
aveva tre anni, e a dodici ebbe l’onore di cantare alla Casa Bianca. Ashley cominciò a recitare nel tardo 1990, e apparve in episodi di diverse serie TV, incluso 'Smart Guy', Settimo Cielo, 'Grounded for life', Boston Public, 'Strong Medicine' e Beverly Hills 90210. Più tardi fece il provino per entrambi i ruoli di Maddie Fitzpatrick e London Tipton per 'Zack e Cody al Gran Hotel' prima di entrare nel cast come Maddie.
